I have refrained from letting loose about this because I didnt want to be that person, but today took me over the edge. I have spent the past 6 months solid in accounting hell, as I peel away layer after layer of mistakes, random miscategorization of charges, even tax payments posted to the wrong account, and after another week of really digging in, finally realizing that I have to go back and re-reconcile everything going back into 2012, all thanks to the negligence of Dan Lavin. He came recommended highly by a friend, and boasted repretoire of clients - mostly small biz owners in Seattle. I trusted him to do his job. Turns out he couldnt even distinguish the difference between a check number and amount written for said check. Im beyond angry about my own situation, honestly its a mystifying and all I can do is laugh about it. But please all heed warning of this frigging yahoo - if you or someone you know contracts him for accounting services, you best get someone else on your books ASAP, and plan for one hell of a rabbit hole. DAN LAVIN - INCOMPETENT LIAR Stay the hell away from this guy
