I have refused to watch the video of the House-Help that battered a child she was supposed to be looking after and that is for good reason. I no get liver to look that kain thing. Yes! I no get dat kain liver. But I want to ask: Who was the callous demon that recorded that? While we struggle to answer that, may I offer some advise to all of us? If you have another persons child living with you either as a house help or whatever name it is called, try as much as possible to treat the person as your own child. We may never know the hate and discrimination the house help in this case may have been subjected to. Bottled up rage such as this house help may have been carrying for God-knows-how-long would be enough to push someone to even kill. Love is a seed we should strive to sow in everyone we meet. And it is so easy to love. But humans, because of the vain desire to show class, would rather treat their house helps like modern day slaves. I have seen what many people subject their house helps to and I wonder if ever these people have the fear of God. Go to your church, you can single out the maids by the kind of hand-me-down clothes and shoes they are made to wear. We MUST change this attitude NOW because I can tell you that there are tens of thousands of such bottled up anger in many less privileged people serving as house helps in many parts of the country. Unlike what people think and say all the time, house helps are not afflicted with any Mammy Water spirit. They are not possessed by evil spirits. We treat them badly and the result is situations like what we have in this video. Lets try show them a little more love, half as much as we show our kids; let us try tolerate them more as we would want our kids to be tolerated; let us try give them half the attention we give our children and we will see all the demons afflicting them disappear in an instant. Love conquers all as we read in the Bible but fail to practice.
