I have returned from a time of retreat and will begin posting on a regular basis. Outside the window where I sat to pray each day was a lovely courtyard. While mostly bare now, there was still much activity from a variety of birds who visited the bird feeders. The large tree in the center of the courtyard is now barren but provides the perch where the birds can sit, rest and rejuvenate themselves. Lets remember our fine feathered friends who need to be fed during these long winter months. After all in the summer they do eat our bugs for us and much more!
