I have returned to FNQ after leaving Cairns 8 years ago. I have now settled just south of Innisfail. I must say I am amazed at the number of places we used to swim all the time that now bear signs warning of crocs. I find it a bit sad that so many gorgeous swimming spots are now unable to be enjoyed and wonder how much longer it will be before a back yard pool is the only safe place. Its not great for tourism and our FNQ needs tourism in order to prosper. If crocs are breeding up and moving in where they never were before maybe a little culling might be in order just to keep them in check? They are in no danger of becoming extinct, they even breed perfectly well even in captivity/farms etc. What do you think?
