I have reviewed Skillings goals for 2013~2014. I was shocked that he only has 3 goals: 1) Develop effective and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders (on-going since 2007). 2) Development of New Partnerships in US and Internationally for Improvement of Achievement, for Becoming a Model International School District Innovation, and for Improving our Financially Sustainability. 3) Evaluate and revise the organizational structure, job descriptions and assess deficiencies in staffing in order to improve efficiencies and effectiveness, and to become more financially solvent in protecting the quality of education and opportunities for our students we serve. These goals lack attention to improving all students performance in core classes and test scores. No goal to improve employee moral. No goal for assuring maintenance and safety of facilities. Clear his goals are driven only by money. Measurement of each goal is the Boards evaluation as either proficient or distinguished. Apparently no option for not have met goal.
