I have sat in seminars organized by spiritual houses that was extremely good but had very little or no reference to the bible. In another place during the offering on more then one occasion a spiritual guru was quoted One of the things that disturbs me is that the bible even in some of our own organizations is becoming less and less applicable The tendency is simply if it sounds good,if it sounds smart and if it sounds practical it is ok.... One spiritual leader was dealing with issues of morality with one of his leaders and he told me how he handled it and I asked him if that is even biblical to which he replied It is working for us....... My fear is that the bible even amongst the elect is being sidelined and sidelined simply for what makes sense to us... We do so many things that we cannot substantiate scripturally....... 1 Corinthians 2:5 puts it this way that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. On what are we building this generations faith.......
