I have sat up all night thinking of Sal DeFalco and his friends and how lucky he was to have the many people in his life. I know Sal would say Jaclyn get back to your videos and I better see you on Sunday at the club. And he’s right. I’m not used to losing people like some in this town are. I have only really lost my grandmother so this shock broke me this week as well as many. But I know Sal loved me in his special way as he did many out there. So I will return, I am not gonna run into hiding like I had planned for I can hear him say not everyone is gonna love you or even like you, but there are so many of us that do, so do it for us, for we love you and cherish the work you do So Sal your right on so many levels and I am not gonna pout and sit and cry for you leaving us for you haven’t truly left, your right next to me and I feel it, especially this am. Thanks to J.R. Silvey for making me see that this morning. Sal knew what he was doing when he took you under his wing. So life will continue and this Sunday when the Disco music starts I won’t be looking into the heavens or starring at the bar where you used to stand, but will listen to the beat and see the lights sparkle and know you’re not the man in my moon, but the man in my disco ball shining brightly down upon us and forever in our hearts. I love you Sal and your right this is my last post about you. It’s time to dust off my heels and get my fat ass on the dance floor and dance the night away with you by my side.
