I have seen SO MANY parents complaining about Common Core when what theyre actually upset about is that their kids are being taught how to execute math problems differently. I share a bit of that frustration, trying to help the 10yo with long division recently. BUT. Theres good reasons for the change. Learn about why the changes have been made before you try to tear something down because its different.
