I have seen many people talking about having no heat. MalWart, Loews, Home Depot all sell the round kerosene heaters that produce about 23,000 to 30,000 btu of heat. This is more than adequate to keep a couple rooms warm. 5 gallons of kerosene is about $20. A yellow or blue can is preferred but writing KERO on a red can is also Ok. Get the $3 gravity fill pump. Its less hassle than a funnel. These are safe keep then 2-3 feet away from Wells, curtains and furniture. In an emergency you CAN burn diesel fuel in one also.
