I have seen many posts and condolences going out to and for Paul Walker. The vast majority are coming from people that have never met him. It really saddens me that we as Americans look up to these heroes, yet we forget the true heroes in uniform that put their life on the line every minute of every day. We also seem to forget those five brave heroes as teachers and staff at Sandy Hook last year that took bullets to protect their students. Yes I know guns dont kill people it is the person behind those guns. Almost a year later not one piece of legislation has been passed for tougher background checks or more mental health issues. Yes for those standing behind your right to bear arms. I also have the right to go to church, school, shopping and even work without a fear that some crazy person is going to decide they want to become a news worthy martar. And if you think this cant happen in our quaint and quiet little town think again. Any time a family loses a loved one it is a difficult time, however there is something wrong when an actors untimely death is for more important and gets more attention than the true American Heroes.
