I have seen many posts regarding the death of Robin Williams. Some discussing the manner in which it happened, others with remembrances of his roles or their influence on people, and even some that have asked why is Robin Williams death being broadcast differently than other actors who have recently past. The nature of his death aside, Robin Williams was a different person than most actors who touched several generations with the parts of himself he put into his roles. Robin Williams is like many entertainers in the comedey genre that give of themselves so that others may laugh. They do this because the laughter they bring completes them and brings them happiness. Often times these people are sad inside to degrees that no one is ever aware. It is the curse of the clown to be jovial on the outside but troubled within. Yet they give all of their energy to make others happy so they dont have to experience the profound sadness that the comedians feel inside. Many other comedians experience the same things; even Jim Carey has admitted to it. This characteristic is not exclusive to comedians, other entertainers, especially musicians share this spiritual agony. They give so much that we may be entertained. ...
