I have seen on here where some of you went to vote in the Early Vote. I decided that was a pretty good idea. I didnt want to take a chance of something coming up at the last minute that might prevent me from casting my ballot. Im like the majority of you. I have made my mind up by this point,so after months of research, and some debating from some of you I went and cast my ballot. I know some of you may be wandering about the hot race,and which candidate I voted for. I dont feel as some of you do. I know and like both candidates. Both are friendly, both have served in their communities, and both have experience. At the same time I think the decision is clear. One candidate spends untold hours, with most of those hours going unnoticed by even neighbors, and close friends. Yet, I havent heard him ask for credit for all those hours served. I have researched their qualifications, and believe that both could probably handle the job, but one stands alone. His experience in my opinion is far superior. Investigation, after investigation, many being solved, but not all. I have read the court testimonies. I tried to make the wisest decision for me, you, and the whole county. I didnt vote against anyone today, at least not in the Sheriff Race, but I did vote for the man that I believe to be most qualified. My vote went to Steve Ross. Say what you will. Vote as you want, but in my opinion he is the clear choice. Thanks!
