I have seen some uploaded leaflets announcing an upcoming event to compel President Goodluck Jonathan to contest again in 2015. What do they mean by compel? Is the man not old or intelligent enough to decide what he wants to do next in his life? Isnt that insulting? I understand that many of these folks have to eat, especially in a system like Nigeria where opportunities are very scarce and politics is the only sector with easy money, but I find some of the things they throw in our faces highly depressing. I hope Mr President can tell them to stop insulting his intelligence. He should be able to tell them to just campaign for him and not tell us they are begging or forcing him to contest. Millions of us that are keeping quiet are not begging you, sir. Make up your mind yourself. We want someone who has a mind of his own. Not an idiot that needed to be compelled by thugs and morons.
