I have seen way more folks than I would have imagined sharing this on Facebook today. Its NOT from Johns Hopkins. I get really angry when I see things like this because Im afraid it will lead people who could have been saved by evidence-based treatments like chemo and radiation to forgo them. Look, if you have cancer, treat it it dont - thats totally your call. But please make an informed decision and dont substitute conspiracy theories on the internet for science. (And I really dont mean this maliciously towards my loved ones who shared this. Its just hard for me not to take it personally because my last 7 years, and however many I have to come, are thanks to surgery and chemotherapy. And I did not get cancer because of eating sugar.)
