I have sent letters to the current CEO of TD Bank, Edmund Clark, - TopicsExpress

I have sent letters to the current CEO of TD Bank, Edmund Clark, and to Bharat Masrani, who assumes CEO on November 1st in the hopes that they can remedy an unexpected and unreasonable interest hike of 400% on my visa card, which I have held for 10 years at the lowest interest rate and 26 years in total. As an artist, I have depended on this card to hold upfront costs for flights, marketing eg, which I pay back after tours and grants come in. TD visa has, in a sense, been a patron of my arts. :) Apparently when I accepted an Aeroplan Visa card that TD Bank offered me earlier this year (which I accepted because it includes travel insurance and points - both handy dandy things for a touring musician), it lowered my credit rating, which in turn affected my interest rate on my primary card. Catch-22. I have asked Mr Clark and Mr Masrani to consider loyalty and longevity as well as my good standing as a customer in order to return my card to its preferred status. That way I can continue booking flights and making albums while accruing a reasonable amount of interest. Im telling you folks on Facebook this because I want #TDbank to know that my friends and fans care how it treats its customers! Any words of support would be great and Ill let you know what they say.
