I have sent this to my congressman and to my two senators. I BEG YOU to copy and paste it to yours, or something similar. Google contact congressman and contact senator for how to do it online. -Wolf What I have sent: From the headlines on Foxnews: PRESIDENT OBAMA, in his first public comments on controversial trade of five Taliban prisoners for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl since the deal was announced, acknowledges theres absolutely a risk that the former Guantanamo inmates — whom GOP lawmakers say are hell-bent on killing Americans — will try to return to the battlefield. It is QUITE clear that given obamas statements and actions, he has clearly and definitively usurped his power, and his authority, in 1) negotiating with known terrorists and their organization 2) has violated both the US Constitution, to which he has sworn to uphold and defend against all enemies both foreign and domestic, and US Code of law and 3) is using his office to further the ideals and abilities of those who WE the US Citizens are engaged in mortal combat with. I DEMAND as a Citizen of the United States that those of you in Congress in both houses begin IMMEDIATELY proceedings necessary to remove this person from office and charge him with crimes as necessary and needed for his actions against the People of the united States and against the US Constitution. I await your answer on how you plan to proceed on these matters. Thank you Article 2 Section. 4. US Constitution The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Article 3 Section. 3. US Constitution Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. (b) If two or more persons conspire to violate subsection (a) of this section and one or more such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be punished as provided in said subsection (a). (c) Whoever harbors or conceals any person who he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe or suspect, has committed, or is about to commit, an offense under this section, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. (d) This section shall apply within the admiralty and maritime jurisdiction of the United States, and on the high seas, as well as within the United States. 18 U.S. Code § 2382 - Misprision of treason Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States and having knowledge of the commission of any treason against them, conceals and does not, as soon as may be, disclose and make known the same to the President or to some judge of the United States, or to the governor or to some judge or justice of a particular State, is guilty of misprision of treason and shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than seven years, or both.
