I have several Canadian friends Ive worked with over the years. While there are rogue elements in any society, there really is something to Canadians being the nice guys (and gals) of the world. Perhaps this video is an example of that mentality. Sadly, I tend to think if that happened in a US arena, the video would capture boos and cat calls and laughter. Who are we? And is a dramatic incident like 911 the only catalyst to pull us all together? And how long does that last? I love and so grateful to be American. I just question our core values as a nation sometimes.
