I have so many reasons why I could NEVER love a God. I think it is sad that people could love a being who would torment creatures for not loving it. Imagine being so cruel that you would torment people for not loving you. How insecure and narcissistic Gods are. How utterly pathetic to need worshipped and praised all of the time. How rude to see all things, but instead of just helping you force people to pray and beg for help. How positively disgusting to be all knowing and all powerful but pretend that people have a choice. How demented to create beings for the soul purpose of passing tests to win the pleasure of your company in a paradise where they must praise and worship you for all eternity. I cannot believe that people do not see the ridiculous nature of the notion that there is a God. I do understand that fear of the unknown drives religion, but I am still in awe that so many human minds do not question these things. When my dad told me that he thought it sad that I will be going to Hell, I thought to myself, I think it is sad that you claim to love a being who would want someone to be tormented for any reason. Crazy! People never think.
