I have some amazing grands, yes i know ive said it on fb a million times and ill probably say it millions of more times as long as theres a breath in me, but i just wanted to share what i did with my GRANDbaby Hunter at his birthday party today, which was a big hit by the way Brittany Huey Wilson and John Wilson yall made a great call on the bouncy house with the water slide, it was just right for this hot muggy day!!! Anyway... I had been asking him (Hunter) off an on for about a week or so ....what he wanted for his birthday!!?? And he kept saying i dont care Meemaw.. just whatever ill like it!! So i thought id pick at him and give him a box of big rocks that i had picked up at the end of the road in front of our house and put it in a bag and then after he had quit freaking out (i thought) i would then give him his real present!! So i told his mamma what i was doing and to make sure when she was giving out his presents to be sure to hand him the bag with the box of rocks in it first and not let him know that the next present was his real gift!! So she goes along with it and he opens the bag with the box of rocks in it and he looks at it a minute and looks at me and says thank you meemaw and pawpaw!! With a smile on his face!! Now isnt that one of the most sweetest, unselfesh, polite, and most loving thing from a 6 year old!!!! And then when we told him it was a joke and the next big bag was his real present he laughed and was thanking us for all we had gotten him... now that boy was raised right!! Theres so many spoiled, selfish, me me me kids that ive seen in department stores laying on the floor kicking and screaming at their parents until they got what he or she wanted, heck it wouldnt even be my kids or grands and i would be embarrassed for those parents, but it is those parents fault for not putting their foot down and nipping that in the bud right away!!!! So what Hunter did today says alot about the ones who raised him (John Wilson and Brittany Huey Wilson) and i couldnt be more proud of him and his brother Calvin!!! You are both precious and so well mannored amazing boys!! Im so so so proud of you both!!!! And i love both of you more than what i can put into words!!!!! So so so PROUD!!!!!♥♥♥♥
