I have some bad news, some good news and some sad news… Well the bad news is this morning along the Monash Fwy in Melbourne there was a suicide attempt; the good news is he is still alive and oddly enough through, it was the second time he tried ‘today’. He is known by Police for trying on occasions (yes, more than once) but they followed him from his earlier attempt this morning and were there to assist promptly. Emergency services arrived not long after to treat his broken bones and legs and that is the other sad news… the only thing worse than suicide is messing it up and living an already difficult life worse for it – I can’t imagine what he is going through tonight!? I’m not about dis-empowering anyone or going to say it is wrong to suicide because it definitely ‘IS’ an option but it’s not the answer to an already bad situation! I know, believe me I DO KNOW how hard it can get (definitely not your personal situation) but everyone’s worse situation, is easy for everyone else but there is one undeniably fact, a universal law, a rule of life that no matter how right you are in your life, you are wrong about this one tiny fact; someone does care about you, we are one of them if you would just give us a chance. There are some things in life that cannot be changed, the past is one of them, that too is an irreversible fact but we can do, controllable things to make sure some of those things do not happen again. Please take the time to think about this, this isn’t some cheap post on a Facebook page trying to get more likes, I actually care immensely about you and the mess of a world you might be living in – please give us a chance to see if we can make things right or a little bit better. There is a world of amazing people out there, out here that can give you some time and love to help heal where you are hurting… I’m only a 43 year male from Melbourne that has just become a father 7 months ago and I am begging you to give me or some of us a chance to help…. Please take care out there, please! Suicide DOES NOT end the pain, it spreads it like a pandemic virus across a world you cant see!
