I have some questions about spaying mares. Rebas cycles arent fun for her or anyone else, so I was going to do some research. Anyone out there have any experience with this? Please, this isnt supposed to be an argument over whether it is right or wrong, just whether or not it makes a difference and how dangerous is the surgery. Reba is somewhere between 13 and 16 years old, and in excellent health. I dont want to sacrifice her health if there is an alternative treatment for bad-nasty-heat-that-lasts-all-summer. And I dont have to do anything, just deal with it, which isnt that hard, but she SOOOOOO wants to be bred in the summer! Pitiful little slut! We have tried Mare Magic, and Reba knows how to eat around the raspberry leaves. Ptooey. Any ideas?
