I have spent some time reading and looking into the latest saga in the Bundy is a racist story. When comments are taken out of context so badly that half of a video is ignored. Yes a 3:14 video is cut down to 1.30. That tells me that either the other minute and forty four seconds was not important or didnt fit the narrative. With the other evidence including Harry Reids insulting and threatening talk of Bundys supporters being domestic terrorists I tend to think that it merely does not fit the narrative. Who gains the most by painting Bundy as a racist? Who stands to profit in the court of public opinion on this. Harry Reid and to a greater extent the government do. When you dissect what was said by Bundy it makes a lot of sense. My interpretation of what was said by a person not trained to parse words is this: There has been a trading in of slavery (physical slavery) for another form of slavery. A system has been created that puts masses of people in bondage to a government system. This time is is not just the group we usually associate with slavery but whole segments of the population that transcends racial bounds. I propose that this is an intentional act by the ruling class. It resembles medieval serfdom. Yes we do have the ability to freely roam within our borders but how easy is that? Back to Cliven Bundy. He pointed out that this system has created or at the very least helped enhance a situation that has 72% of children in the black community being born out of wedlock and 1/3 of black men are in prison. Understandably a portion of the blame belongs squarely on them but the system does not encourage them to break free from the bondage. We have people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out there agitating claiming racism at every turn. Why do men like Dr. Ben Carson, Herman Cain or Col. Allen West get marginalized instead of put forth as examples of what one can do to break the bonds? Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton should be standing proudly beside the Carsons, Cains, and Wests (and many other examples) and parading them through black neighborhoods. They should be lionizing them within their communities instead of demonizing them. But alas we all know why they dont do this. It is all about money. Sharpton and Jackson will be out of work if the young men and women in their communities break the bonds of government servitude. So it is easier to label Bundy a racist than it is to look the beast that is staring us in the face. It is easier to fall prey to the politically correct crowd than it is to look the truth in the eye and actually admit there is a problem and move to fix that. So in conclusion he may have said some things that make us uncomfortable but there is truth in there. Just because he is not an elegant orator and didnt have his trusty teleprompter sidekick feeding him the RIGHT words to say does not mean there wasnt truth in his voice. The truth hurts as it should. Without truth and reality society is coddled and babied and protected from itself to the point that it becomes blind to the issues at hand. We need to stop the politically correct bullshit and society needs to pull up their big boy pants and suck it up and drive on.
