I have spent the last couple of days bragging about my beautiful boy because I was excited to be among other collie lovers;Ironically today I have a problem, I am so worried. I woke up at 4 am to Crosby gagging and vomitting, I let him outside and cleaned up. Once he settled in the garage I went back to bed. My husband got up at 5 and called to me to come quick. Crosby was laying there, his back end and tail full of bright red blood. He continued to bleed for a bit. The yard looks like a murder scene. I called my vet and we are going in. I did a gum test (pink) and he seems to be returning blood to his gums quickly which is a good sign. Lethargic and no appetite but no obvious signs of trauma. Pray for Crosby today please.
