I have spent the morning reading a variety of articles regarding the new Apple products. I hate to admit it, but I am unimpressed, and perhaps that explains the decline in Apple stock price. The new phones do not have sapphire glass, and they are not waterproof. Many iphones are ruined by men who drop them in the urinal. Most of us have cracked a screen and then been stuck with a $100 bill to repair it. ugh. The price is going to be high. The tricked out 5.5 inch screen is going to cost you $499. The Apple watch also appears to be a dud. It does not have any features that are not already available with the Fitbit. Worse yet, the watch will need to be charged every night, whereas the Fitbit can go 5 days on a charge. The Apple pay feature could be interesting-imagine not having to carry a wallet around, but it could be years before retailers and gas stations can upgrade their technology. I like the larger screen, but Samsung has had it for years, and now it will require two hands to operate the device. My guess is that Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave. With all of that said, my old i phone is dying, and I am probably going to order the new device. What about you?
