I have split custody of my son with his mother. He is with me, or in my care 95% of the time. She barely sees him. Its at a point where our son is noticing and making comments. Hes not even 6 yet. I have documents, dates/times, pictures , audio and video of everything from the last two months. As per suggested by my lawyer. Obviously I didnt cross any privacy barriers or what I have would be useless. However I have enough to go to court and proceed with taking my son full time. Is that wrong of me to want it all? It scares me that when he is with her he isnt getting the attention he needs. Or he is getting the attention but for only a short time. He is a very smart kid an deserves the best. I have mentioned to the mother that her lack of time with her son is noticeable and nothing has changed since. She claims their relationship is fine. That scares me that she thinks so. Its not in trouble either but he knows he doesnt see her and she lives here. Please dont get me wrong, she is otherwise a great mom. She has done an amazing job raising him this far. I have only one complaint and its the above mentioned. Thats what makes this so hard, is she just in a phase right now? Will it pass? I know she is better than this.
