I have started this post about ten times. The gist of my comment is this: Many projects, events, programs, and activities that occur in this town happen because of administrators and volunteers who devote hours above and beyond the usual 40 hour work week to make things happen. Please...take a few moments to educate yourself on who is behind many of the events that make East Rochester such an amazing community. Step away from Facebook and into the heart of your community and be part of the change you wish to see. I may not always agree with your politics. I may not always agree with what you think is best for our community, but I can tell you I will value your opinion and criticism more if you research, participate, and engage beyond your initial public critique. I am asking the community to take a close look at the meeting minutes from Fridays Town/Village Reorganization Meeting. And please, continue to use this forum as a chance to bring items to light, vent, and inform. But engage, as well! Thank you.
