I have stayed away from discussing the Ray Rice situation because my view is probably quite different. My daughter brought up the subject last evening and I had to explain my views to her, so I am sharing. If two people have a difference of opinion and they settled it and even went as far as marrying each other, the best we can do is wish them well. I dont know the facts surrounding what we saw and I truly dont give a damn. They are lovingly sharing their lives together and thats good enough for this person. OK so you take away his way of making a living and you vilify him/them, is that helping? Unless punishment is directed towards rehabilitating someone its just punishment. I say give him his job back and monitor his behavior. The NFL has the resources to do that better than almost anyone else and give the wife some counseling also, she needs it just as much as he does.
