I have suggested the use of this herb to several of my friends and family over the last few years for pain control and opiate withdrawal to no avail. However I have hesitated to promote it too much for fear of mass recreational abuse. I have used Kratom and can vouch for its applicability and efficacy. This herb is on the governments radar right now and is in danger of becoming illegal in the US. in which case would be a shame. I am aware of a few reputable online companies with this product available. Its use is multi-fold and can be used for pain, opiate withdrawal, sleep and anxiety control, appetite suppression, stimulation, depression and very likely psychoactive and/or spiritual properties. I have no problem with spiritual and moderated recreational use of anything a person chooses for themselves so long as it harms no one else, but please try and promote the safe medicinal value that this plant has to offer to maintain its legal status here in the US.
