I have survived the surgery to reverse my colostomy, and am home from the hospital...after a four-day stay. My body has been put back together. I dont feel like a new person yet...have some healing to do and that will take time. This entire ordeal with colon cancer began on February 12 and was completed on July 14. I am grateful to be cancer free. My husband may have to have some radiation at the site of his surgery, but he is healing and does not require chemotherapy. We are blessed.
