I have taken over from Sally Kennedy as the Area Co-ordinator for Poppy Scotland this year, Renfrewshires Poppy Appeal launches on 27 October this year so there will be poppies for sale in the normal outlets from this date. As it is the WW1 centenary this year, I would love to try to increase the contributions. Some of you may remember that Caitlin baked her shortbread poppies and sold them at the primary school last year, unfortunately she has moved on to High School, but she would still like to bake shortbread to raise funds. If she were to make shortbread poppies and sell them from the Post Office for Poppy Scotland, would anyone be interested in buying them?
