I have talk it bfor and I still maintain it (coz many seem not to be in tandem with this fact), the way our polity is shaping will not augur well for both the nation and its nascent democracy. With the recent defection of Mr Speaker, Federal House of Rep, Aminu Waziri Tambowal, to the All Progress Congress (APC), further gives credence to my ealier assertion that in the nearest future, precisely after 2015, the following may likely happen: Either or both PDP and/or APC will disappear from under the raidar for different reasons. PDP may not survive the implossion that may occur if/when GEJ wins and completes his tenure. APC,on the other hand may not survive the disappointment of loosing the Presidency (notice I did not predict who will or should win. Dont misquote me pls) 2. Nigeria will become further polarised along #north and #south. Its already looking so with the recent cross of the spealer. Its almopst like all northerners are alligning with APC will the south are sticking with PDP and GEJ. The few northerners still with PDP only further confirms the first hypothesis. Before now, it seemed like those in the APC are only those who hated or had issues with the president or PDP; but with Tambowals defection, a seemingly neutral person in the brick bath (though many will opine he had always opposed PDP and GEJ subtly, it seem that the interest is not #hatred but #ethnicity. The stage seem set for so much drama leading up to 2015 general elections. Again, as I said when I first came out with this, I PRAY THAT Im WRONG! God bless NIGERIA! Please, its ok to disagree o! And I seriously hope u are right and Im wrong.
