I have thankfully so far managed to avoid the huge parties and clubbing nights this Freshers week at my university, as I hate these activites. Tonight, in my halls, someone is playing some sort of stringed instrument in their room or on the corridor above me. The sound is floating through the ceiling. Its followed by cheers from people upstairs. Id much rather stay in and listen to the music, despite the cheers. The majority of students here would consider me incredibly boring. Im not ashamed of this as Im comfortable, warm and I just had some very nice toast.
