I have the 4 dogs I pulled are here now at my shelter. The one with the jaw issue will go to the vet in the morning. The other 3 are a Dachshund/Beagle mix, a Jack/Pomeranian mix & a Red Fuzzy/Sheltie or Heeler mix. There are 3 Large Dogs still at the Pound, a Lab with an eye that need surgery, two mixed large breed dogs that may qualify for our service dog program and 2 chihuahuas that have a skin issues and hair loss. I really want them to have Life, Love and Homes for Christmas! So the next post will be a link to our matching grant that I have not been promoting, I just keep forgetting to post, because Im running around so much. People dont realize, it takes me an hour to get anywhere. To the animal controls I pull from, the vets office, spay/neuter clinic, sometimes two hours if Im going to the rural shelters I help. Then the Chicago trips are 8 hours to our partnering shelters. Lots of driving to Save Lives! I have 3 transports to Chicago before Christmas. One dog is going to Washington, another to California, more going to New York & our Service Dogs Heading to Florida. So if Im slow with responses or not posting please know Im busy working with the dogs here, either coordinating transports or driving them and of course pulling the dogs. After the Holiday I am going to slow it down a bit to catch my breath and rest for a week... But till then I want alot of homeless pets, to find Homes for The Holidays:)
