I have the best mother in the world! This was her status today, and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you and Love you Kristina D. Palmer!! I know that everyone has their own beliefs and are entitled to their own opinions. I love a healthy debate and social discourse makes my heart sing. I also have boundaries. My greatest accomplishment, hands down, is being the mother of my son. He is brilliant, talented, caring and has touched more lives during his time on earth than he will probably ever know. He has traveled to all 7 continents and played for dignitaries. I cant count the number of church services, weddings and funerals that he has performed at in the past 13 years. He is one of the nicest and most accepting people Ive ever met. He also happens to be an openly gay male. Now Im not telling his secret, he came out to family and friends years ago. He even came out on FB a few years ago. What I will not do is associate with people who are homophobic and intolerant. Whether you do it under the guise of religion or political beliefs, you have no place in my life. So, if you have a problem with anyone in the LGBT community I suggest that you unfriend, de-friend, get the stepping, move on, get ghost, erase yourself from my life (the real world or virtually). You have know place here. Thats all. #love #respect
