I have the best staff in the world. The best. The entire Anvil crew is busting their ass all weekend to deep-clean the bar (and paint the entire thing ourselves). Michael Criss team that I work alongside every weekend at the Nightingale Room just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Bartending with the crew Friday night at the Pastry War reminded me how much theyve grown over the last year. That group puts out some drinks and communicates as a team so damn well during the shift. And with Alba Huerta out of town on business, I know Kenneth Freeman and the Julep crew are business as usual at Julep, which has really hit its stride lately. I dont know how I came to be blessed with such an amazing group of people that work so hard for us every day, but on this weekend, I feel especially grateful. Thank you all! Trying to tag everyone here, but it is probably a lost call. Going to give it a shot either way...
