I have the privilege of working with many talented people. Tonight we honored an exceptionally talented, loving, and dedicated teacher. Mrs. Elizabeth Quinn is a remarkable woman and one of the best reading teachers I have had the privilege to work with. You don’t spend 60 years on this earth without learning how to see the real person behind a smile. In Mrs. Quinn’s case it is easy to see how much she cares, the tenderness in her voice as she speaks to her students, speaks volumes about her.
