I have this belief that no matter how far someone may have fallen if i just keep believing in them, if i just continue to see them through hopeful eyes, being there when they feel everyone else has given up on them, if i just continue to help them see the good within themselves, no matter how small, then they might just live up to it. Just knowing that someone, somewhere has your back, believes in you, loves you through the good and the bad, can be the difference between giving up, and continuing to grow into the beautiful person that person sees inside you. But because of this i have been called naive, ignorant, too nice , or even too trusting. Do not take me for a fool. Humans are cruel, selfish, stubborn, greedy, lying, self-destructive creatures. We are born into these qualities. But we balance it out with compassion, kindness, generosity, patience, and love. These everyone must learn over time.
