I have to admit it, I love the National Enquirer and mags of its ilk. I love the crass abuse handled out to celebs, even when it is gratuitous. I mean, the vast majority of celebs are gratuitous anyway. Gratuitous greed, narcissism, arrogance, ego, hypocrisy, dishonesty. Contrary to what some well meaning humanists argue, sitting down with a celeb is NOT the meeting of two equals, or humans (Theyre human like everyone else...) No, actually it is more akin to sitting down with a very large cockroach who can look down on you only because it is perched on a very high chair, sorta like a judge. A subhuman species? Hey, science has been slow before. Boomerang Nebula? Wrong. Nothings colder than a celebs fingertips. I think we need a new law: the first time a celebrity slips up and does something repulsive, they lose their celebrity hood for life. I am sick of all this forgiveness. Turn it into hate, mates. Jimmy Page off the hook for an affair with a 14 year old, Eric Clapton off the hook for supporting racist Enoch Powell. Michael Richards, Mel Gibson, almost every metal musician, Charlie Sheen, Tina Fey, etc etc etc. Put them all in celebrity jail where they can hang with other pathological, narcissistic God farts. And send their lackeys in the media with them.
