I have to be honest...with each day that passes I get more and more nervous of what is yet to come. Will I be ready...will those hills defeat me...will my knees hold up during the marathon course...I know this will be my first IRONMAN come July 27, but I dont want it to be my last either. I know Im not competing against anyone other than myself, but I do want to do well too. OK OK I want to finish my first one then Ill go for time on the next :) I want my daughter, Monica Rae Summers and my son, David Ramos to be proud of me. Wish you two were coming :( but I know you will be routing me on from where you are. I am doing what I can to be ready, but will it be enough. I still have a few more months to go and a lot more training to do. The sacrifices I have made to do what I love. In the end, it will all be worth it.
