I have to comment on friends and how important they are. I have developed friendships through cycling that are irreplaceable. One in particular I need to mention. I start coaching the Ryan kids 6 or 7 years ago. Their Dad Kevin has become a good friend and helped me (slave labor) at multiple National Championships taking care of 10 plus riders at a time. This year his daughter Kendall stayed at my home and watched over Emma while I was at work. Kevin took multiple trips to the hospital with Emma so I could save what limited leave I had at work for critical illness and Bo. This week Kevin came down and motor paced Bo while I was at work and again will take Emma to her Chemo appointment next week so I can stay at work. Friends......Amazing.
