I have to comment on the firing of Brady Hoke as the Head Coach of my Michigan Wolverines Football team... I think he is a very good man and has made a true impact on the lives of many of his players. You can tell by the reaction of the players that they really loved him. But he was not able to develop them into elite football players, nor mold this team into an elite football team. And Im sorry, but as someone who loves my alma mater, his performance and the performance of his players was just not good enough. I am sorry that this did not work out, I think this is a true shame because of how much he clearly loved the school, his players and the tradition, but I will not miss the way this team has performed for the past decade (Im counting late-era Lloyd Carr and Rich Rodriguez in there as well). 1-10 against OSU 1-6 against MSU If were going to turn this around, The University of Michigan needs to make THE most crucial coaching hire they have made in decades. I believe in the program and that it can be turned around, but this has been one of the worst decades of my life as an alum who loves the team. The team has made me indifferent to watching the games. The team allowed me to set incredibly low expectations and then sunk beneath them. There is a LOT of work to be done to get Michigan back where I want them to be, but I am ever hopeful we can do it. #GoBlue
