I have to confess that this was the weirdest days I have had. The first thing was that I was going into Houston to get ready fro the parole board meeting tomorrow. While getting ready, I heard someone drive up and honk their horn. I didnt recognize him at first but it was the sheriff detective that was first on the scene when Val has murdered. He said he hasnt got that night out of his head since and resigned right after that. He heard that I had moved back and wanted to make contact. That was strange enough but I drove into Houston and got to my house there and was on the phone with Melody Piwetz Kussman telling her that scenario and in the meantime there were burglars active in my house and while chatting on the phone they made their escape. I walked in and notice a battery operated light ON and on the floor and stuff scattered everywhere. Then I noticed a backpack full of my stuff and ski mask and gloves, If I had walked in a bit earlier there would have been a confrontation. I called HPD and told them I was armed and headed in to look for the intruders. They were there in minutes. Kudos for HPD. That was just part of the event. It would be too long to go into detail. What a day!!!
