I have to express my disappointment at Michigan republican legislators who have not been able to come up with & pass a funding bill to support the governors primary goal of fixing our road infrastructure. We did not elect a Republican majority to be our own obstructionists. I understand contrary to what many Democrats assert that it is a party of differing ideas and opinions, but at the end of the day we have to show results. Stalemates when you have clear majorities is neither a result or a demonstration of our ability to govern and legislate really important issues like this amongst ourselves. I hope the majorities we elected in Washington DC will have much better results on much larger issues like immigration and tax reform. Lets get some big things done folks.
