I have to give two thumbs up to the doctor at the South Baldwin Urgent Care Center. someone was having back pain before we left home...lots and lots of back pain, and went to the local urgent care place (last minute) and was seen for like one minute and given some meds and sent on his way. I convinced him to go to yet ANOTHER urgent care center (like pulling teeth) and we sat for over an hour to be seen. When we got in the exam room, we figured out why. The doc was a VERY thorough internist who not only wanted a very thorough health history but did a very thorough exam...noting things that someone was aware of but had never had another doctor comment on. He was given two new scripts, two shots, AND the doctors cell phone number in case things got worse over Easter. THAT is excellent care. Can we bring him home????
