I have to make a post about our small and wonderful rural town. We are blessed with a caring Mayor(Terri) and Town Clerk(Sandy Calendar). They go over and above the call of duty. I appreciate you both. In my travels, people ask me where I am from. When I tell them the name of the town, I get unusual pronunciations of our towns name. I explain history of town and always tell them about the quiet country place it is and location. The first time I ever traveled overseas, an older gentleman I worked with told me something to remember. He said, This will be a new and intriguing experience, but always remember(There is no place like home). He was right. I always cant wait to get back home, to our town. We have a great small community with good and decent people. Where people pull together and help one another. Remember, you can always stop by the Town Hall, visit and have a cup of coffee.
