I have to rant. Why would you pay for a photographer whose prices arent much different from others whenever your photographer does not use the latest editing systems, has no experience really, the lighting is bad, quality is bad...pictures are hardcore pixelated? Is this business a freaking popularity contest all of a sudden? I feel as though I bust my rear end from planning, putting everything together, setting up unique shoots to meet my clients needs, Ive got all the latest gadgets that I need to be successful, my editing gets better and better (as in more clean)...I market all the time, I even run specials so that I am affordable...so tell me why arent I more successful? Why are people choosing low quality photographers? && why on earth do I pretty much have to beg for respect for my time and money? Do people really just not care about small businesses, do you think because my business is small that, that makes me small? I get cancellation so much..even people i speak with for months, buy props for vanish and do not contact me back. I just dont understand. I know this business isnt easy, but honestly it should be because Ive had a camera in my hand for years, photo shop has been my go to program since I was younger. Im really getting fed up with this all. I have some really awesome clients in the past, and I am very thankful for them, I just wish they were all like that. I know I shouldnt complain but its just like come on!!!
