I have to say Thank you GOD again. 2 weeks ago my brother Dan was airlifted to Billings by medical helicopter..His BP dropped to 24/14 and was close to flat lining. The hospital ER team and the Mev Evac team got him stable enough to fly to Billings Clinic Hospital. They had him direct admitted to ICU and the Dr was waiting. The Nurse and Dr on that chopper were amazing they had to keep him alive and twice that was close to not happening. I was allowed to fly with him but was not able to hear what was happening in the back of the chopper. They did communicate with me twice that he was holding on. I didnt know at the time they did this after the two episodes where they almost lost him. I was praying hard. I slept on the couch in the ICU room and left only to eat or go to the bathroom. I truly didnt know if I would be bringing him home or not. I am so happy to say he is doing so much better. His first outing was Friday to the VA Dr in Riverton a 180 mile round trip. I took his oxygen and an extra bottle with us and stopped and checked it several times. He did good...Yesterday he was up doing laundry and baking a cherry pie!!!!! Today he is venturing to town to the grocery store by himself for the first time. All I can say is THANK YOU GOD! I got to bring hime home!
