I have to say it. Time for a major gripe. Lately I have been so insulted by the lack of human interaction. I, personally, absolutely LOVE Facebook. At night rather than watch tv Id much rather scroll through reading stories and check out pictures... HOWEVER! When you are in a social situation.. Whether youre with a group or just one person.. EVEN if youre in your own home..In a situation that asks for attention, communication and interaction put the stinkin phone down. If you would rather text or call someone not with you then postpone the situation youre in UNTIL youre ready to give your attention to the person or persons your currently with. If someone is speaking to you its very rude to stare at your phone while thats happening. Even if youre responding to them. If someone is talking to you have the decency to put it down or ask the person engaging you to give you just a minute so you can then give them your full attention. It IS NOT okay. Its okay to tell the person youre with hey give me one minute so I can respond to this text or to say hey lets take a picture of us and Facebook it. Put the phone in your pocket. Take it off of the table. Show some respect. Do people even make eye contact anymore? Anyone else find it annoying when you ask the person youre with to listen and they (staring at their phone) say Im listening. Im guilty. Ive done it. No more. I dislike it done to me therefore Im doing everything possible to change my behavior. You should too. Peace out hippies. ✌️
