I have to say over and over again, since this is vital! There is no breed of Pit bull. People call short hair and strong looking dogs as Pits or Pit Bulls. They come in all shapes, all kinds of temperaments and skills. There is one thing that is common on these kinds - they jump back to social dogs very fast in the right environment, even if they were mistreated previously. My personal experience talks here… and many others. It doesnt mean that they have to tolerate everything, it means that they would respect you with the right handler and caregiver, if you do the same.
