I have to say that I am blown away by the response from my xojane piece yesterday. I was not expecting this! It was scary to take the risks I took in it & I woke up feeling a bit of the old what did I do? Oh My God. What Brene Brown calls the vulnerability hangover, I suppose. But you know, reading through the hundreds of messages and emails and the tons of comments here on this page and the tweets… I realize that I struck a nerve. So I am a little freaked out that I was so open? So what? It was so worth it. Thank you all. Wow. Just thank you. I am speechless. I also realized something glaringly obvious. My Manifestation workshops and retreats (all those who has been can comment here and testify and I hope they will) are about two things: being human and being truthful. We show up in my workshops/retreats. We tell the truth. We kick and scream and dance and share and down dog but we are messy humans. So I guess my article is very much in line with what I do. The subtitle of my workshops these days is: On Being Human. So may we all remember our own humanness and let it astound us.
